Quick Answer: Twin Star Adventure is the central board event in the Kingshot x Whiteout Survival collaboration. Form a three-player team, roll dice around a 26-tile frozen board, use Crystal Dice for exact landings, deal personal damage to the Ice Megalodon, and spend Twinstar Coins before the Polar Shop closes.
The collaboration contains six connected events. Twin Star Adventure is the main board game, while the companion events supply extra dice, Gems, Skin Tokens, cosmetics, and progression materials.
Collaboration Event Sections
| Event | What It Covers |

| Top-up Benefits | Cumulative Top-up Point thresholds and paid rewards |

Complete the free objectives in Polar Handbook, King of the Arctic, and Frosty Symphony before considering paid dice packs. Those three companion events are major sources of Twin Star Dice.
Twin Star Adventure
Twin Star Adventure is the collaboration's main board event. The sections below cover its teams, dice, board tiles, Ice Megalodon damage, milestones, and daily strategy.
Event Schedule
Unlock: Town Center 6
Team formation: 47 hours 30 minutes
Automatic matching: 30 minutes
Board gameplay: 7 days
Team size: 3 Governors
Polar Shop: Remains available for one additional redemption day
Core currencies: Twin Star Dice, Crystal Dice, and Twinstar Coins
The opening two-day window is split between team formation and a final matching lock. Once matching starts, you cannot leave, remove members, or switch teams. Board gameplay begins after the team is finalized.
How Teams Work
Every team has three players. You can invite friends or alliance members, share a recruitment message, or apply to a recommended team.
During Team Formation
- Team leaders can invite players, accept or reject applications, and remove members.
- A player can have up to 10 pending team applications.
- Incomplete teams are automatically filled before gameplay begins.
- Personal team shares have a 5-minute cooldown; public channel shares have a 10-minute cooldown.
After Matching Locks
- Each teammate plays on a separate board.
- Ice Megalodon damage and milestone rewards are personal.
- Landing on Backup and Bomb Tiles sends rewards to both teammates.
- Teammate gifts must be claimed from the team panel.
An inactive teammate does not block your board, but it reduces the Twinstar Coins and Depth Bombs you receive. Build a team with players who will log in throughout all seven gameplay days.
Dice and Event Items
| Item | What It Does | End-of-Event Conversion |
|---|---|---|
| Twin Star Dice | Rolls a random number from 1–6 | 1 × 1h Training Speedup each |
| Crystal Dice | Lets you choose an exact result from 1–6 | 5 × 1h Training Speedups each |
| Twinstar Coin | Currency used in the Polar Shop | 1 × 1m Training Speedup each |
| Depth Bomb | Deals 100 damage to your Ice Megalodon | 1 × 1h Training Speedup each |
Normal dice can be rolled individually or in batches of five. Batch rolling is faster, but individual rolls let you react when the Adventure Chest or a special tile enters Crystal Die range.
Your milestone score equals the total value of your rolls. A result of 6 moves six spaces and adds six points, so Crystal Dice can guarantee both a destination and maximum progress.
The 26-Tile Board
| Tile Type | Board Positions | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Starting Tile | 1 | Gives random Item Tile rewards, improves those tiles, and deals 100 boss damage |
| Event Tile | 2, 9, 15, 21 | Gives a random Twinstar Coin reward |
| Backup Tile | 8, 20 | Gives you 200 coins and sends 100 coins to each teammate |
| Bomb Tile | 14, 22 | Deals 200 boss damage, gives you 100 coins, and sends one Depth Bomb to each teammate |
| Item Tile | Remaining 17 tiles | Gives its displayed reward and gains +1 XP |
| Adventure Chest | Randomly placed | Gives the destination tile reward plus one bonus chest reward, then relocates |
Item Tile Levels
Item Tiles begin at Level 1 and can reach Level 5. Landing on one grants its reward and adds 1 XP. The upgrade requirements are 1, 3, 6, and 10 XP for the next levels.
- Passing the Starting Tile gives rewards from 2 random Item Tiles and adds +1 XP to each.
- Landing exactly on the Starting Tile gives rewards from 3 random Item Tiles and adds +1 XP to each.
- Passing or landing on Start also deals 100 Ice Megalodon damage.
Event Tile Coin Odds
The Event Tile immediately after Start has the stronger reward pool:
| Twinstar Coins | Chance |
|---|---|
| 3,000 | 2% |
| 1,500 | 8% |
| 600 | 20% |
| 400 | 60% |
| 200 | 10% |
The other three Event Tiles use this pool:
| Twinstar Coins | Chance |
|---|---|
| 1,200 | 2% |
| 600 | 8% |
| 240 | 20% |
| 160 | 60% |
| 80 | 10% |
Best Crystal Dice Strategy
Count all six reachable spaces before choosing a result. Use this priority order:
- Adventure Chest — receive the destination reward plus a bonus chest reward.
- Bomb Tile — deal 200 direct damage and send one Depth Bomb to each teammate.
- Starting Tile — receive three Item Tile rewards, add three XP, and deal 100 damage.
- Backup Tile — gain reliable coins for yourself and both teammates.
- Valuable Level 4–5 Item Tile — take it when the multiplied reward beats the special tiles in range.
- Choose 6 for points — use maximum movement when no premium destination is reachable.
Point Milestone Rewards
| Total Points | Reward |
|---|---|
| 30 | 100 Twinstar Coins |
| 60 | 1 Crystal Die |
| 120 | 500 Twinstar Coins |
| 180 | 2 Crystal Dice |
| 300 | 1,000 Twinstar Coins |
| 600 | 3 Crystal Dice |
| 900 | 3,000 Twinstar Coins |
| 1,200 | 6 Crystal Dice |
| 1,500 | 5,000 Twinstar Coins |
| 2,000 | 10 Crystal Dice |
The complete track gives 9,600 Twinstar Coins and 22 Crystal Dice. Claim each milestone immediately so newly earned Crystal Dice can improve later rolls.
Ice Megalodon Damage
| Damage | Guaranteed Skin Tokens | Other Reward Types |
|---|---|---|
| 200 | 20 | Mythic Hero Shards, Truegold, or speedups |
| 500 | 40 | Gems and Enhancement XP Parts |
| 1,200 | 60 | Truegold or speedups, plus Forgehammers |
| 2,000 | 80 | Gems and Lucky Hero Gear Chests |
| 3,500 | 100 | Truegold or speedups, plus Enhancement XP Parts |
| 5,500 | 120 | Gems and Forgehammers |
| 8,000 | 160 | Truegold or speedups, plus Lucky Hero Gear Chests |
After 8,000 damage, every additional 1,000 damage unlocks another repeating reward.
Where Damage Comes From
- Pass or land on the Starting Tile: 100 damage
- Land on a Bomb Tile: 200 damage
- Use a teammate's Depth Bomb: 100 damage
Damage is not shared. Teammates help one another by landing on Bomb Tiles and sending Depth Bombs, but each player has a separate damage total and reward track.
Daily Missions and Free Pack
Daily missions reset at 00:00 UTC and use two progressive chains:
| Mission Chain | Steps | Total Daily Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Pass the Starting Tile | 1, 3, then 6 times | 600 Twinstar Coins |
| Roll numbers greater than 5 | 2, 4, then 8 times | 8 Mythic General Hero Shards |
The daily free supply pack contains one Twin Star Die plus secured Bread, Wood, Stone, and Iron. Claim it every day even if you plan to save the die.
Adventure Chest Odds
| Bonus Reward | Chance |
|---|---|
| 5,000 Mystery Badges | 3% |
| 2,000 Mystery Badges | 12.5% |
| 1,000 Mystery Badges | 12.5% |
| 2,500 Twinstar Coins | 4% |
| 1,000 Twinstar Coins | 24% |
| 500 Twinstar Coins | 12% |
| 5 × 3h General Speedup | 20% |
| 2 × 3h General Speedup | 12% |
The Adventure Chest gives the tile's normal reward plus one item from this pool, then relocates. It is usually the best Crystal Die destination.
Polar Handbook
Polar Handbook is a seven-day mission pass with six Daily Drill tasks that reset at 00:00 UTC. Completing every free mission can provide 25 Twin Star Dice: 21 from seven days of Daily Drills and 4 from the free milestone track. Tundra Trek and Polar Express add paid reward paths and additional dice.
Polar Handbook includes free, Epic, and Legendary milestone tracks.
Complete the speedup and troop-power missions while their matching King of the Arctic stages are active. Even after finishing the 4,000-point milestone track, continue the Daily Drills through Day 7 so you do not miss the remaining free dice.

King of the Arctic
King of the Arctic is a seven-day personal scoring event. Each day uses a different scoring category: Power Boost, Beast Hunting, Hero Development, Soldier Training, Hero Gear, Resource Gathering, and Governor Gear. Daily points also contribute to the Overall Ranking.
King of the Arctic rotates through seven daily scoring stages.
The fourth and fifth milestone chests each award one Twin Star Die, for up to 14 dice across all seven days. Save resources for their matching stage rather than spending them as soon as you receive them.

Frosty Symphony
Frosty Symphony uses a 15-mission grid. Completing rows and columns opens line chests, while clearing every mission unlocks the final Frosty Treasure. Full completion awards 16 Twin Star Dice.
Mission 15 requires a qualifying paid pack, so F2P players cannot finish Row 3, Column 5, or the final treasure. Completing Missions 1–14 still provides up to 8 free dice from Rows 1–2 and Columns 1–4.

Top-up Benefits
Top-up Benefits is the collaboration's seven-day cumulative purchase track. Progress does not reset each day, and reaching a threshold unlocks that tier plus every lower tier.
| Cumulative Top-up Points | Rewards |
|---|---|
| 2,500 | 1,000 Gems, 1 Lucky Hero Gear Chest, 4 × 1h Construction Speedups, and 4 × 1h Training Speedups |
| 7,500 | 2,000 Gems, 5 Gold Keys, 5 × 1h Construction Speedups, and 5 × 1h Training Speedups |
| 12,500 | Frosty Party Name Card (Permanent), 5 Mythic Conquest Skill Books, and 6 each of 1h Construction, Research, and Training Speedups |
| 20,000 | 5 Mythic Expedition Skill Manuals, 8 × 1h General Speedups, and 8 each of 1h Construction, Research, and Training Speedups |
| 30,000 | Snow Sovereign (Permanent), 2 Mythic General Hero Shards, and 10 each of 1h Construction, Research, and Training Speedups |
Best Top-up Strategy
- Choose a ceiling first. Decide which tier you genuinely value before making the first purchase.
- Count only displayed Top-up Points. Do not assume every offer contributes equally.
- Stack objectives. Prefer a purchase that also completes Frosty Symphony Mission 15 or unlocks a paid Polar Handbook track you already wanted.
- Check the remaining gap. A visible next tier is not automatically good value if it requires a large additional purchase.
- Stop at your planned tier. Do not let the cumulative display pull you beyond your budget.
Top-up Benefits is paid-only. The Frosty Symphony mission requires one pack containing at least 2,500 Top-up Points, so verify the value displayed on the pack before purchasing.
Polar Shop
The Polar Shop is where you spend Twinstar Coins earned from the board, special tiles, teammate rewards, daily missions, and point milestones. It remains open for one additional redemption day after board gameplay ends.
Polar Shop inventory includes daily shards, permanent cosmetics, and progression materials.
- Twinstar Coins do not carry into a future collaboration as shop currency.
- Each unused coin converts into only one 1-minute Training Speedup.
- Shop inventory and some prices can vary with kingdom progression.
Permanent Polar Shop Cosmetics
| Item | Coin Cost | Notable Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Nanook Sphere (Permanent) | 45,000 | Permanent cosmetic with +2% Attack |
| Emperor Penguin Slopes (Permanent) | 45,000 | Permanent cosmetic with +2% Attack |
| Frostcrown Nameplate (Permanent) | 1,500 | Lower-cost permanent cosmetic |
What to Buy First
Buy the two daily Mythic General Hero Shards for 75 coins each when you have a non-exclusive Mythic hero you are actively building. Then use this account-based order:
- Truegold when an important Town Center or troop-building upgrade is blocked.
- Forgehammers when Mythic Hero Gear is ready for Mastery Forging.
- Lucky Hero Gear Chests while your main heroes still lack complete Mythic sets.
- Artisan's Vision when a planned Governor Gear upgrade is waiting on Visions.
- Charm Designs when they block the next Governor Charm breakpoint.
- Governor Gear Materials Chests and Charm Guides as supporting materials.
- Speedups only to spend down leftover coins after valuable limited stock is handled.
The 45,000-coin cosmetics are worthwhile when you value the permanent +2% Attack bonus more than the immediate progression materials. Otherwise, use the coins to complete a useful upgrade now. See the Kingshot Shop Guide for the Polar Shop alongside every other shop priority.
