Kingshot July 2026 Update: Prestige Merit Shop, Hero Roulette & All 27 Changes

Full Kingshot July 8 update breakdown: Prestige Merit Shop, Name Cards, expanded Hero Roulette, Bear Hunt timing, event upgrades, and all 27 changes.

Server maintenance: July 8, 2026 from 06:00–08:40 UTC. The new features and optimizations take effect after maintenance is complete.

Kingshot's July 2026 update introduces the Prestige Merit Shop and a new Name Card cosmetic system, then follows them with 27 optimizations across major events, rewards, chat, heroes, and everyday navigation.

The biggest practical changes are expanded Hero Roulette choices, more precise Bear Hunt auto-registration, one-tap event reward claims, real-time event progress displays, and clearer start times for several scheduled events. Here is the complete breakdown from the in-game update notice.

New Content

Prestige Merit Shop and Ageless Voidstar upgrades New

The Prestige Shop has been upgraded with a new Prestige Merit Shop. The Ageless Voidstar skin series is also expanding with new rally skins and other deluxe skins.

Completing the Ageless Voidstar Puzzle can award an exclusive domain effect and Prestige Pouch. Unlocking the Skin Series also triggers a server-wide announcement.

Name Cards New Cosmetic

A new Name Card tab is being added to the Skin system. Players can switch and combine Name Cards to customize how they appear in the Wilderness.

Most Important Gameplay Changes

Hero Roulette now offers older generations

Hero Roulette gains a hero-switching feature. In addition to the heroes currently offered, Governors can choose from heroes belonging to the previous two generations of the event.

This is the update's most consequential hero-progression change because it gives players more choice over which eligible Roulette hero to build instead of limiting them to the current selection.

Bear Hunt auto-registration is more precise

The Bear Hunt Auto-Register feature can now register for the exact moment the trap cooldown ends. The extra five-minute delay is being removed, making back-to-back scheduling easier for alliances.

Event progress appears in real time

A new event point-progress display shows progress toward phase rewards as relevant actions are completed. It applies to:

  • Alliance Mobilization
  • Hall of Governor
  • Strongest Governor
  • Kingdom of Power

One-tap claims for major event rewards

Phase rewards from Kingdom of Power, Alliance Brawl, and Strongest Governor can now be collected with one tap. The Weekly Benefits Card and Intel Monthly Card also support one-tap collection when multiple rewards are ready.

Daily chest rewards change to Gems

Daily chest rewards for Daily Deals and the Custom Forging Set are being upgraded to Gems. Daily chests for Hope Market, Master's Collection, Custom Selection, and Custom Arms Set will receive the same change according to each kingdom's progression.

Event and Battle Optimizations

1. Castle Battle

  • Position applications can be cancelled.
  • A Governor can voluntarily resign from a position after its cooldown ends.
  • The King Skill reservation screen can switch between UTC and local time.

See the Castle Battle Guide for the broader event mechanics.

2. Swordland Showdown

After an alliance fully controls a building for 30 minutes, the rate of personal Relic Point gain from that building increases.

3. Viking Vengeance

The Members button becomes available earlier and remains visible throughout the event. Ally reinforcement formations are also improved so the maximum deployable soldier count no longer exceeds the remaining assistance capacity.

4. Kingdom Transfer

  • The confirmation button displays a countdown during the transfer cooldown.
  • Kingdom Details shows the Governor's current Power beside the Power requirement.
  • Soldier-level calculations used in transfer ratings are adjusted to better reflect current Power.

For transfer preparation and eligibility, use the Kingdom Migration Guide.

5. Alliance Championship

Battle replays gain a My Battle shortcut that jumps to the lane where your squads are fighting. Troop Details also adds Battle Bonuses and a Soldier Overview.

6. Sanctuary Battle

The notification screen gains an event-start reminder setting for alliances that have already registered. The registration screen also adds a preview entrance for Fortress and Sanctuary rewards.

7. Tri-Alliance Clash

The event-start mail receives a clearer title and its Go button now opens the event directly. After Legion registration, the main screen displays the exact start time with a UTC/local-time switch.

8. Eternity's Reach

After registration, the event screen displays the battlefield start time and supports switching between UTC and local time.

9. Rebel Invasion

After leaving a normal battle, players can select Quick Challenge to respond to Rebel Invasion faster.

Heroes, Power, and Wilderness

10. Squad Power

Soldier-level calculation rules in Squad Power are updated for Tri-Alliance Clash and Swordland Showdown so the displayed value better reflects current Power.

11. Hero information

Missing source displays are added for some Hero Shards, and the Combat Award chest becomes accessible through the Get More Hero Shards flow. Descriptions for Amadeus's Born Leader and Helga's Power of the Deer are clarified; their actual skill effects remain unchanged.

12. Hero Recruitment

The wait for free Epic Recruitment is reduced by 30 minutes.

13. Wilderness Search

After a beast is defeated for the first time, the beast search defaults to the next level. If no nearby Terrors meet the selected level requirements, unavailable level options are removed from the search filter.

14. Bonuses and Perks

  • Position Perks in the upper-left bonus area show their remaining duration.
  • The Gathering Speed bonus description lists applicable situations.
  • When a relevant Hero skill is already maxed, the training, research, healing, and building screens show a floating prompt instead of redirecting to the Hero screen.

Alliance, Chat, Mail, and Interface Changes

15. Chat

The Private chat page gains separate Private Chat and Group Chat tabs.

16. Alliance

Weekly Alliance Triumph Chests receive a visual effect when they become claimable. The member-permission details screen also explains the Alliance Label setting.

17. Battle mail

Personal and rally attack/defense mail uses different victory and defeat icons. A new notification mail is also sent when rally troops are expelled.

18. Push notifications

The Rally Against Beasts notification text is revised, and Elite Rebel notifications receive additional prompt information.

19. Rankings

Ranking screens receive clearer explanations for update timing and sorting rules.

20. Default stickers

The display of some default stickers is updated, while some stickers are removed.

21. Mega Rocket town skin

Visual details on the Mega Rocket town skin are improved.

What Players Should Do Before Maintenance

There is no special conversion step listed in the update notice. The practical preparation is simple:

  1. Note the 06:00–08:40 UTC downtime on July 8.
  2. Avoid scheduling time-sensitive event actions inside the maintenance window.
  3. After maintenance, check Hero Roulette before spending Gems so you can compare the newly available hero choices.
  4. Alliance leaders should review Bear Hunt auto-registration and event reminder settings.
  5. Claim or inspect updated store chests only after confirming their new Gem rewards in your kingdom.

The July patch is primarily a quality-of-life update, but the Hero Roulette selection change could materially affect long-term hero planning. The Bear Hunt timing fix, event reward shortcuts, and clearer UTC/local scheduling should also remove several recurring points of friction for active alliances.
