Thrud: Cavalry Hero Guide

In Expedition mode, Thrud is a Generation 5 mythic cavalry hero primarily available as rewards for Strongest Governor and Kingdom of Power/KvK (what Kingshot calls the "Featured Hero"), unless you plan to use orange hero shards. She is most designed as an offensive specialist for attack rally leaders, by virtue of the game's second offensive cavalry widget to provide a multiplicative 15% lethality bonus. The value of her priority skill "Battle Hunger" depends somewhat on the type of formation you are running. The fewer cavalry you have in formation, the better. However, "Reckless Charge" provides a 20% chance to deal 100% extra damage (a 20% effective increase) for cavalry only, which feels like a bit of a mismatch with her first ability. However, she still ends up being an exceptional hero since this skill features a unique targeting mechanic that strikes ALL THREE opposing troop types simultaneously. Not only does it make the ability 3 times stronger, but this allows her to damage opposing cavalry and archers before the infantry line falls, which is a significant strategic shift in PvP Expedition combat. Her third skill, "Ancestral Guidance," again relies on cavalry being present
