Olive

Olive is an archer hero in Kingshot who serves a very specific early-game purpose before gradually transitioning into a permanent economy specialist. On the Expedition side, Olive is one of the most valuable heroes new players can acquire because both of her skills revolve around increasing food acquisition. Green Thumb boosts the amount of bread gathered for your city whenever Olive is present or not, while Forager's Luck increases the amount of food collected from mill resource tiles when she is physically included in a gathering march. This makes Olive an excellent long-term utility hero that continues providing economic value long after she leaves your combat roster (which will likely only be brief). Because food is one of the earliest bottlenecks for city progression, Olive can significantly accelerate account growth for new players who consistently utilize her gathering bonuses. Do not attempt to use her on Bear Hunt as either a leader or joiner as her growth abilities will take up valuable slots that could go to other heroes with combat abilities. In Conquest and Arena, Olive is surprisingly effective during the opening weeks of a kingdom thanks to her powerful Rain of Arrow
