In Expedition mode, Hilde is a Generation 2 mythic cavalry hero meant to be Kingshot's improvement over Jabel, but is only slightly so. Like for like, her abilities come out to the same roughly 25% expected value as Jabels, albeit on a different combination of skill codes. This means most of her benefit comes from the increased cavalry stats that the second generation brings. Given that she is much harder to build than Jabel, she frequently is skipped by free-to-play players, which is a shame considering the adversity she overcame in her backstory. For spenders, she remains a slight overall upgrade for those expecting to lead garrison defense, and her joiner ability remains highly useful for PvP formations due to its unique mix of skill codes. It can also be somewhat helpful as a bear joiner if your alliance lacks alternatives that exceed the 15% attack bonus, but be sure it does not bump out the 25% bonus brought by other heroes. For Conquest and Arena modes, Hilde serves as the gameÔÇÖs first truly impactful support and healing character.
